Add a little Plush! to your life

Would you ever want to ingest powdered collagen three times a day? The inventors behind ‘Plush!’, a 100 percent all-natural premium collagen formula (targeted at women), believe that one should do so for the sake of youthful looking skin. Designed in Japan using a patented batch-extraction technology to remove flavour, odour and fat content of collagen, the product can be easily dissolved into any food or beverage making it easier for consumption.

The beauty product will be launched in Singapore come 19 January 2006 at SG$79.90 (30 sachets).   Collagen is major structural protein that makes up a quarter of all the protein in the human body. The product (derived from animals) repairs and rejuvenates skin, as well as stimulates more collagen production. According to Mr Allen Choong, CEO of HealthWorkz, the company

that brings in health products to Singapore, it also helps to increase bone density, cushions the joints and aids in reducing the occurrences of arthritis.

This is because one key area where collagen is found is in the bone and joint cartilages.

Mr Chong believes it also improves the body’s ability to fight dryness as well as age spots and stains in skin.

He explained that the product has been consumed in Japan for years for beauty and skincare purposes as it increases skin’s elasticity, firmness and smoothness.

A trial was also conducted on 20 middle-aged women (excluding a control group) in Japan. The women (aged above 40), who have consumed Plush! over three months in the winter season, have shown an improvement in their skin elasticity and health levels.

According to HealthWorkz, who markets Plush!, a similar level of success is expected to be replicated in Singapore.

The product is available in three flavours of Original, Marine and Green Tea. The Original and Marine collagen is derived from mammals and fish respectively, while the Green Tea formulation contains green tea extract, which include detoxification, anti-oxidation, calorie burning and skin whitening benefits.

The product is recommended to be taken three times a day for first time users and one to two times a day for maintenance after a month.

Plush! is certified by the Japan Food Research Laboratories to be completely free from fat and sugar, preservatives and additives.
